Luca McDonnell
I am a freelance designer. I draw and build the whole thing myself — the website, the packaging, the mark.
Two degrees from the University of Canterbury sit behind that: a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in marketing and minoring in finance, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. The commerce half is why the work is built to sell something. The fine arts half is why it looks drawn rather than assembled.
Working alone means there is nobody to hand the job to, which is the point — the person who answers the phone is the person doing the work.

The paperwork
How paying works
Nothing is paid until the site is live and you have seen it.
You see the finished thing working, on a real address, before any money changes hands. If it is not what you wanted, you have not paid for it.
