Logo & wordmark design in Christchurch

Marks and lettering drawn properly, in every file you will ever need. Fixed price, full ownership, no licensing tricks.

A logo has to work at 16 pixels on a browser tab and at two metres on a sign, in one colour on an invoice and embroidered on a shirt. That is the whole brief, and it is why a logo is drawn rather than picked.

What you get is a mark that has been tested at those sizes before it is handed over — not a nice-looking file that falls apart the first time somebody needs it in white on a dark background.

What you get

The mark
Drawn as vector, so it never softens at any size.
Every file
SVG, PDF, EPS, PNG. Full colour, one colour, and reversed.
Lettering
The wordmark set and spaced by hand, not typed and left.
Clear rules
Minimum size, clear space and the backgrounds it is allowed on.
Full ownership
It is yours outright. No ongoing licence, no per-use fee.

How it runs

  1. What it has to survive — Where the mark will actually appear.
  2. A fixed quote — Before drawing starts.
  3. Drawing — Shown at real sizes, on real backgrounds.
  4. Handover — Every file, plus the rules.

Questions

How much does a logo cost in New Zealand?
From $400 here for a mark and wordmark with the full file set, quoted at a fixed price before the work starts.
Do I own the logo?
Yes, outright, with the working files. There is no ongoing licence and no fee for using it on something new.
How many concepts do I get?
Enough to make a decision, and each one is a real proposal rather than filler. The point is one mark that is right, not four that are nearly right.
Can you redraw my existing logo?
Yes — cleaning up or rebuilding an existing mark as proper vector artwork is common, and cheaper than starting over.
